Well, we haven’t been on any photo shoots in the past few months. We had to forego the BIG travel tip this year because we bought a house! We are now official Colorado residents. We started the process back in February and August 8 we closed. Finally, we are all moved in. Erich has the full story from dirt to finished product on his blog...http://eschillertravel.blogspot.com
The house is new construction about a mile and a half from where we were renting for two and a half years. It is a two story patio home with a finished basement. The front yard is fully maintained by the HOA and the backyard, well, it is pretty small. We are going to deck the whole space. We opted for the finished basement because if we don’t do it now we never will. The basement has a full bath and bedroom plus Rec. room that will be the home gym. So, that puts us at four bedrooms and four bathrooms. All the bedrooms have walk-in closets - so cool. That is a lot more space to put more stuff. We have been unpacking for five days now and there is still a lot to go, the lack of being properly organized is driving me nuts. I can’t handle all the clutter right now. Ugh, we have so much stuff! You don’t realize how much stuff you have until you have to move it. Fortunately, we hired two men and a truck to move it all. That is the only way to go, I am so done with moving myself with a U-Haul!
Yeah, we got all the cool stuff in the house too; quartz counter tops, hardwood floors, a spacious loft, stainless steel appliances and decorative tile in the master bath and kitchen backsplash. We got all this for the same price as our Suisun home, twice the space and design center upgrades that we couldn’t afford in California.

It's sad to hear that you won't be going on the BIG trip, but I'm ecstatic to know that you bought a house, Michelle. I'm very excited for you. It's hard to find the perfect home, so I'm glad that you fell absolutely head over heels in love with that one. The caramel color looks perfect. Very homely! Happy for all of you! :)
