Like I don't already have enough camera gear, I have to go to the Mike's Camera Demo Day to try out some lenses. It is fun hanging out with other photographers getting their geek on. You just go to the tables, give them your driver's license and they give you gear to play with. I tried out the Fuji lenses, the 80 mm macro 2.8, the 50-140 mm 2.8 and the big daddy, the huge 200 mm 2.0 with a 1.4 converter. Mike's had a few stations set up with the big boys mounted on tripods - all you have to do is screw on your camera and shoot. I actually wanted to try out the prime 16mm 1.4, they didn't have one, so I went to Wheatridge store and bought one anyway. The 16 mm 1.4 is awesomely clear! Love it! We spent the rest of the afternoon shooting Colfax Street and around the Capitol in downtown Denver.
