First hike of the year! Took the tripods and Lee filters on a hike in Roxborough State Park. From what we remembered, the trails are paved so no mud. I don't know where we got that from? The trails were mud and ice. Yes, we had the YakTrax (they clamp on to your boots and provide traction) so we were invincible. There was a line getting onto the park. What? It is winter and Colorado, there shouldn't be a line! I guess that is what happens when you have population growth at 40 percent. We ate our mango and chicken salads in the car while we waited. Erich was trying to get the smooth clouds using long exposures with his big blocker. I only have a little blocker so I didn't quite get smooth skies. Although I did do some stacking, ND Grad with polarizer and little blocker, one minute exposures. Got fantastic some fantastic skies.
